Intacct Launches India Operations

BANGALORE: Intacct Corporation announced the launch of Intacct Software Private Limited.
The company informed that Intacct is focusing on delivering ERP software as a service catering to enterprises directly and indirectly through business process outsourcers (BPOs) and independent software vendors (ISVs).
As IBM's only ERP On Demand partner, Intacct introduced the first Web-native business application suite with multi-entity management capabilities. This operation focuses on developing and servicing the company's expanding suite of Web-based ERP applications and building alliances with Indian BPO firms offering them Intacct's strategic platform for delivering their services.
Robert J Jurkowski, CEO, Intacct Corporation, said "We are excited to make our direct presence to the Indian market, leveraging the country's entrepreneurial spirit and vast pool of engineering talent to build the next-generation of business process-driven ERP On Demand applications for the mid-market".
He further elaborated "Intacct is also the leading platform provider for US based BPO firms delivering the finance and accounting services and is here to offer the same platform to BPO firms in India."
Nagaraj Prabhu, Vice President of Engineering, Intacct Corporation said, "Our main focus will be on research and development, quality assurance and professional services for the entire ERP On Demand suite. The team in India will enable Intacct to do rapid innovation on key solutions needed in the on-demand market place. Intacct will be able to meet the growing needs of our customers in a timely fashion."
