Cavium Networks center in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Cavium Networks will begin its India Development Center in Hyderabad on an investment of $10 million over 5 years. CEO of Cavium Networks Syed Ali said ‘this development center will greatly expand the software development capabilities of Cavium Networks for its Nitrox range of security processors as well as the recently announced Octeon Network Services processor along with built-in hardware acceleration for content and security proceesing’. Cavium, a fables semiconductor maker is working towards supplying processors used in next generation of secure and intelligent networking equipments. The Hyderabad facility will develop software like micro code, drivers and application stacks for Nitrox and Octeon security and content processors apart form customizing software according to customers needs.
