BP:

British Petroleum is one of the world’s leading international oil and gas companies providing customers with fuel for transportation, energy, lubricants and petrochemical products. Castrol the most famous product of BP is known for motor oils for automobiles and motorbikes.

BP acquired the brand in 2002. The company was in turbulent waters after the 2010 Deepwater Horizon spill, and the company sold off many possessions to pay the $4.5 billion for penalties fines and legal fees.  In March 2013 BP sold its interest in Russian Oil Company TNK-BP to Russian oil company Rosneft.

Chevron:

Chevron has major operations in the world’s most important oil and gas regions by working in extreme difficult environments such as ultradeep water. It is a leader in refining, fuels, lubricants and additives and is experienced to bring energy to consumers.

From chemical production and mining to energy research and nanoscience, Chevron also facilitates a range of power facilities, and also ranks as the world’s largest producer of geothermal energy. It was acquired Texaco in 2001 and bought Atlas Petroleum in 2010, active over 180 countries. Currently, it is working towards the ‘clean energy’ sector as well.
