This company provides telecommunication services and products like wireless communication, local exchange services, long distance services, broadband and internet services, video services, managed networking and wholesale services.

7. Dell: Founded by Michael Dell in the year 1948, this company is one of the leading companies for IT services. After HP and Lenovo, today, Dell the third largest provider of desktops and notebook PC’s. The recently turned private company is a provider of technological products, network servers, data storage systems, printers, Ethernet switches, displays and projectors. Dell is ranked as the 7th most powerful brand in technology but dropped down to 48 from last year’s ranking among the most valuable brands.

8. IBM: The multinational technology and consulting corporation, IBM, is the 8th most powerful brand in tech with its brand value at 48.5 billion dollars. It has increased 15 spots from last year and is the 49th most valuable brand now according to Forbes. This company manufactures and sells computer hardware and software, and offers infrastructure, hosting and consulting services.
