Why Indian Companies Are Hesitant Towards IPv6

Bangalore: Technology has been the biggest source of generating revenues for all the businesses, especially helping enterprises by cutting short the amount of manual resources required as well as the time used. In today’s world we are so used to it that it has become the bread and butter of everybody’s daily life. But India, on the other hand, has always been a slow starter when it comes to transformation and this is why we see only a handful of Indian multinationals across the Globe.

According to The Times of India report the Indian companies are still not prepared for a transformation that is ready to happen in the internet web addresses. The IPV4 is the existing format of web address which has to be upgraded to IPV6 by the end of 2014 before the former runs out. Just like changing from a 7 digit to 8 digit mobile number, the operators who are the providers of Internet services and network devices need to move to a new format of internet web address which is called as the IPV6.
