Several yoga teachers have criticized Radev for ending his fast on the ninth day as they compared his dipping health graph with Swami Nigamanand who relentlessly fasted for 68 days before force-fed by the authorities. Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad accused Baba Ramdev of commercializing Ayurveda and selling traditional medicines at much higher prices.
