4. Mark Verdon Boucher:

This all-rounder from the South African cricket team announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in July 2012 after he suffered from serious eye injury against Somerset. From the time Dave Richardson retired, Boucher became the first preference as a wicketkeeper by the South African cricket team. Before retiring he has represented South Africa in 147 Test Cricket matches, 295 ODI matches. In Test cricket, he has scored 5,515 runs, ODI 4,686 runs. His last Test match was against Sri Lanka in January 2012, Last ODI was against Australia in October 2011.

5. Muttiah Muralitharan:

He was one of the best ever spin bowler the World of Cricket had ever experienced. The best example to prove this is that, he was named as the greatest Test cricket bowler ever by the Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack in 2002. He announced his retirement from the Test cricket after he registered his 800th wicket and the final wicket in Test matches on 22nd July 2010. His last Test match was played against their tough contender India. He had made his Test debut in against Australia during August 1992 and made his ODI debut against India in August 1993.  Before retirement, he had played 133 Test cricket, 341 ODI matches. His best bowling in the Test cricket is 9/51 and ODI is 7/30.
