To Be HANGED: 5 Men in Indian Jails

Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar:

Professor Davinderpal Singh Bhullar was sentenced to death in 2001 by a trial court for a bomb blast which killed nine people outside the Youth Congress (YC) office in Delhi. He plotted terror attacks on Punjab SSP Sumedh Singh Saini in 1991 and the then Youth Congress president M.S. Bitta in 1993 leading to several deaths in Delhi. Maninderjit Singh Bitta was his target, but escaped with injuries.

Bhullar’s wife, Navneet Kaur had applied a mercy plea to the President of India, but President Pratibha Patil had rejected the mercy petitions of Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar.
