Three Indian executives in Google's top management positions

VIC Gundotra is one another Indian who has been part of this reorganization of Google. Gundotra is the Senior Vice-President of Social for Google and heads Chrome Browser and Operating System Effort. He completed his studies from Indian Institute of management and specialized in computer engineering. Before joining Google he has worked 15 years at Microsoft as General Manager of Microsoft's developer outreach efforts. At Microsoft, he was responsible for a variety of products and operating systems, including Windows 3.0, NT, Windows XP, and Vista. In 2003 he was recognized by MIT Technology Review as a "Young Innovator under 35" for his work in sparking Microsoft's change from Win32 to the NET programming model. Gundotra joined Google at 2007. At Google he is responsible for its social products such as +1. He was also the Vice President of Engineering responsible for developer evangelism and open source programs. He also manages applications development.
