Tech companies like Apple, Google, Amazon and Facebook are the most potential war giants for this platform. Known for its polished marketing channel and brand, Apple will be creating waves with its wearable computer iproducts. Google has always been the favorite of developers after the android rush which shows that Google will create an open platform to build the most coolest and flexible apps for the wearable computers. Of course we cannot forget that Google has already launched its augmented reality glasses called 'Project Glass'. Amazon has information on more than 100 million products and their buyers. Facebook has a Rolodex and facial recognition for 800 million people who will build products that can provide easy access to online products and social networking.

The fusion of man and machine will be the beginning of cyborgs. However, most wearable computers are still in nascent stages and have not moved on other than being prototypes. But the future looks promising with technology becoming infinitesimal. Although Smartphones are taken an example of wearable computer, it may not be a true wearable computer; it is one example of an incremental step toward one. Despite the rapid evolution and development of technology, a true wearable computer still only exists in the prototype.
