The First Jobs of the Revolutionaries
Warren Buffet, the business magnate the third wealthiest person in the world 2011, was just 13 when he started working first. He used to go door to sell chewing gum, cola, or weekly magazines in order to earn and save money. He ran a newspaper delivery business when he was in his teens and had already started working on his multi-billion empire since then. Always on the lookout for opportunities, he started painting pin-ball machines and had about $10,000 from his business ventures (selling golfballs and stamps, and detailing cars) by the time he graduated from college. He made his friend purchase a used pinball machine which was placed in barber shops, and within months they owned several machines in different barber shops, and today he is one of the most successful investors worldwide.
