Rackspace Cloud Files:

Rackspace Cloud is a growing set of Cloud related products and services from Rackspace.  The services include offerings such as web application hosting and cloud platform, cloud storage, VPS/Virtual private server, Cloud Load Balancers, Cloud Databases, Cloud Backup, Cloud Monitoring, and more. The Rackspace Cloud Files is the name given to the robust set of cloud storage services that includes offerings like infrastructural computation, CDN network powered by Akamai. Rackspace also provides customers with Cloud Block Storage, primarily used for high performance storage needs and high input-output capabilities.

Rackspace is based upon OpenStack open source project and is a strict follower of the OpenStack developments. Because of that, Gartner have recognized Rackspace as the right blend for creating hybrid cloud services and for integrating public cloud storage services with OpenStack-powered on premise clouds.
