3. "Give Me Your Blood and I Will Give You Your Freedom":

This slogan was coined by Netaji Shubas Chandra Bose. Netaji used to slogan to motivate the personnel’s of the Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army) to liberate India from the brutalities of the British rule. Other famous slogan coined by Netaji is ‘Delhi Chalo’ (March to Delhi).

4. "Quit India":

On 8th August 1942, the father of our nation, Mahatma Gandhi demanded British to ‘Quit India’ and gave a call for immediate independence. It was a movement of civil disobedience and immediately after the call, more than 60,000 Indians were arrested which included the entire leadership of the INC (Indian National Congress). Franklin D. Roosevelt, the then President of America, pressured Churchill to accede to the call, but it was in vain. Though the call was a failure, it clearly communicated to the British Raj that India can no longer be controlled by them and left them no other choice except to find a respectable way to leave India.
