"I am going to do this job as long as I can. I think I have the greatest job not just in the country but in the world. It has been four years and it has been a lot of fun and I am going to do this as long as I can," he said at the New York Times' Dealbook Conference in New York last week.

Bharara said he would continue working on "those great and awesome prosecutorial tools" that have helped his office charge some of the most prominent and influential executives on Wall Street with insider trading.

But when he does retire or gets "kicked out" of his job, he would want to travel the world and meet people. "I'm going to walk the earth," said Punjab-born Bharara, quoting a dialogue from the movie "Pulp Fiction".

"Like Caine in 'Kung Fu'. Go from place to place, meet people, and get in adventures. That is what I will do," he said.
