2. National Aquarium: The National Aquarium was built during a period of urban renewal for the Inner Harbor area of Baltimore and was opened in 1981. It is home for over 16,500 specimens representing over 660 species. There are many spectacular views that includes spectacular dolphin displays and shows, a rainforest on the top floor filled with tropical birds, a huge tank filled with rays, a display featuring exotic frogs of all shapes, sizes and colors, and shark tanks towering over 30 feet high.
