Romesh Wadhwani
Dr. Romesh Wadhwani is the founder, Chairman and CEO of Symphony Technology Group, which is a Silicon Valley-based private equity firm. Romesh who has a net worth of $2.1 billion founded STG and used his 30 year experience in enterprise software to carve out a name for his company.
Wadhwani has been successful in raising the profits of the company to $2.5 billion. With his leadership and management experience Wadhwani has managed to take the company to greater heights in the tech industry in less than a decade. His Californian native company specializes in acquisition, growth capital, and turnaround transactions.
Wadhwani holds a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of technology, Mumbai. After which he received an M.S and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University after moving to U.S in the year 1969.
Romesh Wadhwani received India Abroad Award for Lifetime Achievement in the year 2012.
