Dhir is considered to be one of the most successful corporate leaders in India; He was earlier the executive vice-president of international business at AOL Inc and played a key role in establishing and expanding the internet and also outsourcing operations in India for the media firms.

Under his guidance the firm made revenues three-fold in FY12. He made a strong base and re-energized the brand. In his role, Dhir hired strategic resources and expanded the team to three fold and expanded the network for Apple exclusive stores. Under him, the firm made a massive 223percent jump in revenues in 2011-12, as the company grossed around 2,003.9 crore.

Apple India was not even in the top five in the previous quarter but now iPhone sales has been significantly increasing and has already emerged the second best smartphone brand after Samsung in revenues.  Analysts expect that the company would cross $1 billion this fiscal year.
