Dine time

The beauty of Kuramathi’s bar and restaurants relies on the islands natural beauty. Guests can dine with their feet in the sand while enjoying the fresh produce that is flown in from around the world daily.

We had a wide variety of options to dine for, with 3 buffet and 6 a la carte restaurants being distributed across the island, while each one having their own specialty.  The Palm was our favorite with its ultra modern design and indulgent cuisine. Set on the powder soft sand and shaded by swaying palms we watched swooping fruit bats and tiny hermit crabs scuttling about as we tucked into the delicious food.

The best thing about the restaurants was, we had so many options that we were confused on which one to choose for the food, as each one had its own different settings, with its own picturesque views, with its own different cuisines. To top it all, we had the Tandoor Mahal, famous for the Indian Cuisine.For more informal dining the wafting smell of wood fired pizza is tempting at Palm Pizzeria and Gelateria. Dine underneath swaying coconut trees that provide shelter from the sun while sampling the menu on the sea shore.

If you want to indulge in the healthier side of life, there is Haruge, Malaafaiy and Farivalhu set next to the turquoise water, offering varieties of cuisine and off course hell lot of desserts.If guests are feeling indulgent, why not opt for a private dining experience. You will have so many options to choose for this. And the best one is offcourse the Serenade dinner.

The Maldives has regularly been voted as the world’s top diving destinations, so water lovers will be in heaven. For those who enjoy staying closer to the surface, grab some snorkeling equipment to gaze at the assortment of tropical fish and coral- the resort can organize a trip  to some of the best snorkeling reefs in the area, which makes for a great afternoon out.
