Gitanjali Brandon, the daughter of a senior IAS officer, Rohit R. Brandon was determined to pursue her father’s path despite leading her successful legal carrier and secured an All India rank of 6 in her attempt.

Gitanjali graduated from the National Law School of India University in Bangalore and had represented her university in the international seminars. She has a keen interest in international affairs, foreign policy and diplomacy and aspires to join the Indian Foreign Service (IFS). 

The Jaipur girl gives credit of her success to parents and god. “I hope to contribute to India’s emerging diplomatic profile in the years to come. I am primarily interested in the areas of energy diplomacy, trade negotiations and climate diplomacy,” she said.
