If you continue to do the same thing again and again, and you're good at it, people are going to keep asking you to do that one thing, That may be fine as far as your boss and the company are concerned, but it means that you may be unfulfilled and that your professional skills are declining over time. Your boss's job is to get the job done, but it up to you on how you can grow professionally.
