Silence On Core Issues
Rahul Gandhi has apparently inherited the Congress policy of remaining silent on core issues, giving scarce attention to country's problems. He hardly speaks on national issues, choosing to rather focus on party's youth organization. The youth of India today want their leaders to stand up on important issues. Rahul Gandhi's decision to remain quiet on recent corruption scams plaguing the government has angered many. A few weeks before she left for the treatment, Sonia Gandhi had handed over power to a few leaders that included Rahul. She had hoped her son would take control of the difficult situation facing the government, but finally when he did speak up, Rahul disappointed everyone with his lackluster speech.
