INK Live 2013: Fuelling Innovation In Young Minds At Kochi


The Re- imaging, Design & Manufacturing workshop conducted by Autodesk gave the attendees the opportunity to learn how next-generation tools are changing the way new and everyday objects are created. The 3D printing exposition anchored by Tatjana Dzambazova, Technology Whisperer – Autodesk, gave an insider's peek into the emerging trends and convergences that would forever change the way things would be designed and manufactured in the future.

The Crafting With Cochin workshops jointly conducted by MIT Media Lab and Nokia made the attendees discover, innovate and flaunt their creativity by building new forms of communication and interaction kits. The workshop on ‘Design for Sustainability’ enabled participants to come up with practical solutions tackling today’s problems. The workshops were jointly anchored by Kshitij Marwah – Innovator, MIT Media Lab India initiative and Rajeshwari Kannan – Head, Nokia Research Center.

The Creation & Innovation workshop by THNK (The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership) anchored by Dinesh Sonak – Interdisciplinary entrepreneur, THNK saw participants grouped in multidisciplinary teams, solve Indian social challenges by applying THNK's creative process.

The Denim Art Project by Levi’s, a community-based workshop project had the young attendees of INK Live 2013 express their creativity by filling the massive Denim canvas with their imagination.

Aspiring writers among the audience learnt how to structure a narrative and create character by participating in a Creative Writing Workshop conducted by Lavanya Sankaran - Author of The Red Carpet and The Hope Factory
