#3 Cucumbertown

Cucumbertown is a unique web portal that focuses in curating recipes from all over the world. It writes shares and rates recipes which can be easily filtered with their quick search engine. It was founded by Cherian Thomas an ex engineer in Zynga, the internet startup gained quick traction and has nabbed around $300,000 from 500Startups. The startup venture is looking at 2014 with great enthusiasm as it is planning to extend into U.S. and European markets. Cucumbertown is planning to concentrate more on cooking videos to gain attraction from its users.

#4 Druva

The Mumbai-based startup Druva, offers data protection and governance for endpoints by integrating online backup, secure file sharing & data loss prevention. Co-Founded by Jaspreet Singh, Ramani Kothandaraman and Milind Borate, Druva Software in 2007, Druva is geared up to shift to indirect sales from direct sales in 2014. The startup venture currently stands with 1.7 million protected endpoints and has spiraled up with workforce from 154 to 200 in the past one year. The initial funding of was led by Indian Angel Network and managed to collect $42 million from Nexus Venture Partners in participation from the existing investor Sequoia Capital.

Exotel offers cloud telephony service enterprises including features like outbound calling, call recording, IVR, call data records, API integration and many more.  Founded by Shivkumar Ganesan, Ishwar Sridharan and Siddharth Ramesh the product is a dashboard with sales tools, marketing tools, customer support tools, business intelligence, analytics and all the other necessary tools that required for an enterprise to run their business smoothly over Voice and SMS.

The Bangalore based blooming venture currently caters around 500 customers and is planning to expand the figure to 1500 in the year ahead. The startup raised its initial round of Rs 2.5 crore funds from Mumbai Angels and Blume Ventures in 2012.
