3. Kirloskar Group

Kirloskar is the earliest multi industry company in India. Founded in 1888, Company manufactures Pumps, Engines, Compressors, Chillers, Pig Iron Construction and more. In a joint venture with Toyota, Kirloskar also takes part in automobile, flyover and bridges construction.

In 1926, Kirloskar introduced the first diesel engine in India. Presently, Kirloskar group holds the crown for pumps, valves making and Genset manufacturing. Under leadership of Sanjay Kirloskar, Chairman of Kiroskar Group has achieved huge success as one of the fastest growing company in India. The annual report of Kirloskar Group 2012-2013 reported a total income of 5, 179.84 lakhs.

4. Godrej Group

Established in 1897, Ardeshir Godrej founded the company manufacturing high security locks, springless lock. The year 1932 marked the incorporation of Godrej and Boyce as a limited liability company. In 1955, India’s first typewriter was manufactured by the company. In collaboration with GE, company manufactured India’s first refrigerator.

Currently, the company manufactures industrial and home appliances; deals in Real Estate business. The annual report generated the revenue till 2013 was 216 billion.
