India's 10 Most Trusted Personalities in 2013



Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa needs no introduction, with her immense work towards the poor, serving the needy has earned her special place in many hearts. While guiding the expansion of Missionaries of Charity at first in India and later in other countries, for over 45 years she ministered the poor, sick, dying and orphaned. Seen as a saint, her honoring by Pope John Paul II following her death gave her the title ‘Blessed Teresa of Calcutta’.

Baba Ramdev
Baba Ramdev, the spiritual guru is the tenth most trusted personality in India. He earned his popularity through his contribution in yoga, ayurveda, politics and agriculture. He is best known from his TV shows and his participation in the campaign ‘India Against Corruption’. 

The survey also included brands and products most trusted by Indians, among which mobile handset-maker Nokia is the most trusted brand. The survey lists included India’s 1,100 most trusted brands ranging in 211 categories like personalities, consumer products, personal gadgets, banking, technology, telecom, government institutes, airlines and others.
