With mobile phones becoming cheaper by the day, this prediction of IBM’s is something that seems to be looming just around the turn of a couple of years. Those who are physically incapable of obtaining vital information such as that about medical facilities, or about weather changes (for farmers) will easily be able to do so if they just obtained and learned to operate their phones.

 

5. Spam will be dead and buried:

With your computer knowing your preferences, what makes you excited, and what you concentrate on, IBM also predicts that these preferences could be stored, and used to filter mail that gets channeled to your inbox. Hence, no more spam.
