iBall forays into Indian cellphone industry with 7 new models

Hyderabad: iBall, a company known mainly for computer peripherals, forayed into the Indian mobile phone market with the launch of seven new handsets. iBall presented a series of mobile phones in seven distinct segments such as Shaan, Waterproof, Sleec, Flip, Posh, Touch and Senior. "All iBall products are unique in blending technology with design, aesthetics and innovation. Our range of mobile phones combines these three attributes even better, in a highly cost-efficient manner," said Sandeep Parasrampuria, Director, Best IT World (India). Best IT World (India) is the owner of iBall brand of Computer Peripherals. Every handset in the new series has some kind of uniqueness such as the waterproof handset can float on water; the specially designed phones for senior citizens has large fonts and large keypads and an SOS button, pressing which emits a siren noise and also sends texts to five notified numbers; and the slim QWERTY phone comes with an optional cover that houses an additional battery. The Sleec model is just 8 mm in thickness and comes with dual battery, dual camera and dual sim. The price range starts from 1250 for Shaan model and goes up to Rs 6500 for Vibe wifi.
