How Educated are India's Renowned Politicians?



Sharad Pawar
Sharad Pawar is the chief of the Nationalist Congress Party found in 1999 which was formed after splitting from the Indian National Congress. Pawar has held many offices in the Indian government over the years. He has held prominent positions like the Chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) before he was made the President of International Cricket Council's (ICC). Pawar acquired his Bachelors in Commerce degree from the Brihan Maharashtra college of Commerce in Pune. This seasoned politician has always been politically active since his college years like in 1956 when he organised a protest march for Goan Independence in Pravaranagar.

Jyotiraditya Scindia
Jyotiraditya Scindia is a Member of Parliament and a member of Indian National Congress. He is currently the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Power in the current UPA-led Central Government, representing Guna Constituency in Madhya Pradesh. After studying at the Campion School, Mumbai and the Doon School, Dehradun, he did his masters in Economics from the Harvard University in 1993. He got his M.B.A. degree from the Stanford University, California in 2001. Scindia is also the president of Cricket Association in Madhya Pradesh.
