#6 Google Voice App for BlackBerry

Google Voice is a telecommunication service launched on March 11, 2009 and has applications for Google Android, BlackBerry and Apple iOS. The users can automatically place outgoing calls and texts via the user’s Google Voice service. Besides, they can also manage incoming texts and calls.

The Bad News: The app will stop working as of next week.

The Good News: For BlackBerry users who want to continue using Google Voice, they can rely on HTML5 app.

What Google suggests: Users are recommended to use the company’s HTML5 app, which is more secure and easier for Google to keep up to date. The company’s HTML5 site is compatible with users with BlackBerry version 6 and newer.

Google Cloud Connect, free cloud computing plug-in that can automatically store and synchronize Microsoft Word document, Powerpoint presentation or Excel spreadsheet to Google Docs. It maintains pervious document versions and allows multiple users to collaborate, working on the same document.

The Bad News: Google has announced its shut-down and the existing users will no longer be able to use as of April 30.

The Good News: It is a plug-in to help people people work in the cloud by automatically saving Microsoft files from Windows PCs in Google Drive.
