Rule Three: Detach Ego from Running Company
Running a company is of course one big thing to do and this might not be possible by everyone but the fact remains that an entrepreneur must let go ego while running a company. Chamath says that at Facebook necessary liberty and freedom were given to all engineers and people working in the atmosphere to ensure that their creative inputs flow freely. He says that to achieve to the goal of being good and getting rich an entrepreneur must detach ego from running the company.
Rule Four: Strong Sense of Purpose
When Chamath started the topic of sense of purpose he directly linked it by giving an example of Twitter and their style of administration. An entrepreneur can be called efficient only if he posses the attitude of having a strong sense of purpose. “There are just few life threatening decisions that an entrepreneur has to make in his long journey and they are critical, these can be done only if one has the quality of having a strong sense of purpose.”
