VANCOUVER: fSONA Communications announced Wednesday the signing of a partnership agreement with Netware Technologies. This partnership also marked their entry into India. The SONAbeam family of products will now be available through Netware technologies, a technology and infrastructure solutions provider delivering leading edge critical hardware to service providers. Netware caters to the prime carriers in India, Europe, and Far/Middle eastern markets. Netware's first project was to deploy SONAbeams for the touchtel division of Bharti Enterprises. Bharti has been a pioneering force in the telecom sector in India with many firsts and innovations to its credit, ranging from being the first mobile service in Delhi, first private basic telephone service provider in the country, first Indian company to provide comprehensive telecom services outside India in Seychelles and first private sector service provider to launch National Long Distance Services in India. "Netware is very pleased to partner with fSONA to distribute their SONAbeam product line," says Rajat Nagrath, Director of Netware. "FSO or free space optics is an important new option for service providers and enterprises who need high-bandwidth wireless connectivity." "fSONA is excited about our partnership with Netware," stated Theresa Carbonneau, President & CEO of fSONA Communications. "Working with Netware allows fSONA to extend its reach to new customers in India, Southeast Asia and Eastern markets."
