Here are some features that were shown in add: Open Mic - an always-on mic for voice commands ala Google Glass; Active Updates - part of the screen auto wakes up to show notifications and the clock in standby; Camera is launched by twisting your wrist twice; No on-screen shutter key, just touch anywhere on the viewfinder for the camera to take a picture; Holding your finger for longer on the screen makes the camera quickly take several snaps in succession. And according to GSMArena, the Smartphone will be launched in markets (in Canada at least) as early as this August in both black and white. And the rumours of the device having LTE capabilities; the semi-transparent on-screen navigation keys, have come true too.

The ad also hints that the phone being called X1, and is in line with the rumour that Moto X will not be a single smartphone, but a range of handsets. The rumoured specifications of the upcoming 'hero' Smartphone, which is also called as “hero” by Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside, include a 4.7-inch screen that supports 720p resolution, like Nexus 4 and 1.7GHz dual-core processor. The device will come with 16 GB storage, 2 GB RAM, and said to run on Android latest 4.2 Jelly Bean. The speculation is also rife that the phone has a 10MP camera on the back, while a 2MP used in front camera.
