C-Suite Executives in India and APAC Foresee the Advent of SIOs as Critical Success Factor in 2014


“Our observations say that India is still amongst the best prospects for long term growth in terms of emerging markets in Asia. It is witnessing a new phase of growth in select industry segments largely due to organizations moving up the value chain.  Organizations are awakening to the fact that unless they integrate technological improvement and foster innovation, it will be difficult to raise productivity & create greater competitive advantage.” said, Mr James Agrawal, Managing Director, BTI Consultants India.

 In terms of size of enterprises, SMEs have shown tremendous growth. The next best category is multinationals, with 21 percent predicting significant revenue growth and 17 percent significant profit growth. Among non-profit/government/GLCs, 20 percent anticipate significant revenue growth and 15 percent significant profit growth. A total of 23 percent of firms operating in the Asia Pacific expect significantly higher revenue growth.

 Mr. Agrawal further added that, “2014 Executive Outlook provides an insight in to big trends shaping the business landscape this year including understanding of the business perspective of senior clients better. Majority of executives out here feel that organizations are increasingly becoming socially intelligent. Among the employees, needless to say, Gen Y are far ahead of the curve.
