CES 2014 Welcomes Latest Digital Photo And Video Options


The annual trade show also has major tech players like Sony, Yahoo and Intel using the conference to showcase their latest products. Tokyo-based Sony has announced an upcoming launch of an Internet television service in America, along with launching a video game streaming service that will be available for Sony consoles, tablets and smartphones.

Samsung’s Ultra HD TV also made a buzz at the CES with the company’s debut of several TVs and its partnerships with Netflix, Comcast, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, Amazon.com as a way to retain this product in homes which will bring 4K video to the company’s 2014 line of UHD televisions. On the other hand, YouTube is showing off its Ultra HD wares at CES as well. Using a new open-source codec, VP9, YouTube is running 4K streaming videos at the LG, Panasonic, and Sony booths in order to show off the codec alternative to the current 4K standard: H.265.

CES is flooding with hot digital photo and video gadgets and the tech innovators have made their presence felt in Vegas by displaying their creative machines that have amazed the world.
