Car Of The Week: Mahindra Verito Vibe

Another interesting thing lies in Vibe’s boot. Unlike the other hatchbacks, Vibe’s rear wind-screen is fixed. When you open the boot, the lid pops up alone without the rear screen. Moreover, the boot cannot be accessed from the rear seat. This clearly diminishes the design statement between a hatchback and a sedan. However the boot has a capacity of 330 litres, which match some sedans on road.

The car looks descent from some angles but overall, the Mahindra designers have a lot more to go.

Interior:

When you step inside the Verito Vibe, you will understand what the car stands for- Practicality. Like some space sedans, this car easily accommodates 5 people, with rear seats having three headrests. This apparently would be one of the most spacious hatchbacks available in market.

The interior is the same that you can find in the fully grown Verito. The consoles, treys and the steering are all the same. There is a lot of space to store items and the black & beige treatment of the dash is fresh. However, the company is not providing steering mounted controls for even the high end version- a theory that we don’t understand.
