Bollywood Flicks That Broke 100 Crore Mark At Lightning Speed



Krrish 3:
Hrithik Roshan starrer "Krrish 3" has crossed the 100 crore marks within four days of its release. According to sources, the movie was made on a budget of 100-150 crore. It hit about 3,500 screens and from day one has been doing well at the box office. A third in the franchise that began with 2003 hit sci-fi movie "Koi... Mil Gaya", "Krrish 3" takes forward the story of the superhero Krrish. If "Krrish 2" saw Krishna defeating Siddhant Arya and save his father Rohit, "Krrish 3" sees the superhero fighting with a dark force, an evil genius called Kaal, played by Vivek Oberoi. The movie also features Kangana Ranaut as a mutant, while Priyanka Chopra plays the female lead.

Ek Tha Tiger:
Salman Khan is no less than the ‘Midas’ of Bollywood in the recent times. His touch is enough to fill the pockets of his producers. Most of his recent movies have engrossed a handsome earning in the opening days. ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, released in Aug, 2012 is the second highest earning movie in Bollywood. With an overwhelming welcome by his fans, this movie grabbed 30.29 crore on its first day. The second day collection of this movie was 14.5 crore and the third day collection was 12.1 crore. The overall collection of this blockbuster was 186 crore and it crosses 100 crore in six days.
