He helped Amazon in the purchase of the IMDB and its IPO. Blackburn also was responsible for Amazon's investment into its cloud services.

8. Brian Valentine: A former employee of Microsoft, Valentine brought his knowledge into the field of E-commerce. He takes care of the user-interface for the shopping portal, as well as its basic mechanics. At Windows, he was enrolled by Steve Balmer to get Windows 2000 ready for the market, in the late 1990s.
