Though YouTube is free for uploaders and Vimeo offers a free upload, the platforms charge $199 for comprehensive features like additional storage, support and sell the video on demand. On the other hand, ‘Wonder PL’ charges an annual fee of $300. All the features for uploaders look comparatively better than YouTube and Vimeo and the company said that it offers more advantages to the content creators though they pay the annual fee.

Fenichell also said that Wonder will depend on its subscription revenue for now but would eventually start providing opportunities for sponsored content. People can view videos on Wonder in an ad-free environment, an added advantage.

According to reports, YouTube has one billion users, every month, watching more than 6 billion hours of video and Vimeo having the global audience of 150 million users; of which 22 million are registered members. However, with the emergence of this new platform, it seems that the new online platform’s advantages would attract quite a lot of attention with its unique way of giving creativity a hike by offering premium services and an edge over others looking for something different in the world of entertainment.
