Wipro partners McAfee for global reselling

Bangalore: Wipro Technologies has signed a global reselling partnership with IT security firm McAfee. As per the agreement, Wipro will be a global reseller of McAfee products and jointly address the $3 billion managed security services partner along with McAfee.
The move is said to strengthen Wipro's Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) practice with McAfee's security product suite, including McAfee's solutions for endpoint and network security.
Both the companies have established a McAfee Center of Excellence (CoE) at Wipro's Bangalore campus to support over 300 consultants annually across the McAfee product portfolio. The CoE produces reusable assets and process frameworks that support the joint offerings for customers.
Wipro has also received its first services contract to implement and roll out McAfee Total Protection solution for endpoint security by a global leader of mail and document management solutions.
