Wipro opens new office in Germany

BANGALORE: IndiaÂ’s third largest IT and Software services company Wipro Technologies opened its new office in Munich, its third in Germany.
The company will employ local consultants to get business and grow its delivery and development center, a press release by the company said.
The press release also said the start of the Munich office will help the company become a global company with operations in all major markets of the world including USA, UK, Finland, Sweden, Japan and China.
"The opening of the Munich center reflects the strategic importance of the German market in Wipro's European growth strategy and reiterates our commitment to the European market," said Wipro chief executive - European operations, PR Chandrasekar. "The center will complement Wipro's services by addressing issues which need local presence," he added.
Wipro derives 30 percent of its business from Europe and Germany is the most promising market for the Company.
