Bangalore: The ‘stressed out’ developers from multiple platforms have a variety of plans on redirecting their coding talents, time and energy into various fields this year.
A survey conducted by Zend among 3,335 respondents including SMB, enterprise and independent software developers found that battle for dominance will be between mobile, web and the cloud. Most of developers have strong opinion on the technology and tools that they plan to employ.
Developers Focus and Investment plan
The survey found 'Mobile app development' as the area of investment & focus to 66 percent of developers. 35 to 50 percent plan to work on API’s, social media integration and cloud.
