Virinchi Technologies names new CEO

HYDERABAD: Virinchi Technologies announced the appointment of Anil Kumar Pinapala as its new Chief Executive Officer. A software products and Services Company based out of Hyderabad, Anil succeeds Viswanath Kompella who will continue as the Chairman and Managing Director of Virinchi. This announcement comes after him being named as the Executive Director earlier this month.
Anil is a management graduate from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi and worked briefly with IMRB before joining Virinchi' s business development team. Before being appointed the CEO, Anil headed the North American sales
and operations of Virinchi.
Commenting on the appointment, Kompella said, "Companies cannot grow if individuals do not. We all want to make Virinchi a place where a trainee can join and grow all the way to the top management and occupy a Board position, purely based on merit, and this appointment comes as a step in this direction."
The decision to appoint Anil as the CEO comes inline with the objective to achieve the targeted "100 by 10", Virinchis endeavor of being a $100 million company by 2010. Virinchi believes that this can only happen if people involved also grow 10 fold during the process. In this regard, Virinchi had earlier announced induction of two of its management employees onto the board, including Anil.
