"Currently, the Thiruvananthapuram centre that would become operational from this week and would look after the work being done by the other partner centres in the country," said Chandra. Big Pond USA has partner centres in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi currently that are working on projects outsourced by the US-based company. "By the end of the current financial year, we are expecting a total revenue of $1.7 million after eight months of operation in India. Our centres in the country are each working on specific projects. We are investing half a million in our Thiruvananthapuram office. This is a short-term plan," said Chandra. K.Ramesh Kumar, director of STPI, said Big Pond has asked for 1,500 sq ft of space and would get it the moment it submits the required papers for registration.
