Tripath names Eichler new CFO

SANTA CLARA: Tripath Technology Inc. (Nasdaq:TRPH) Friday announced the appointment of David Eichler as its new chief financial officer. Eichler joins Tripath with over 20 years of finance and accounting experience. Most recently, Eichler served as the CFO of Gadzoox Networks, where he was an integral part of multiple financings and ultimately restructured the company towards profitability. Prior to that, Eichler was CFO at Alliance Semiconductor where he successfully managed a company turnaround to profitability. Eichler has also served as CFO of Hyundai Electronics America and OKI Semiconductor and was the Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Adobe Systems. In addition to being a CPA, David holds an MBA in Finance from UCLA and a BS in Accounting from Northeastern University. "I am very excited about joining Tripath.
