Bangalore: Appointments, continuous meetings, tight schedules describes the life of a CEO. Although the toughest one, each one of us would like to live a life of a CEO for sure. However there is certain fortunate ones who is waiting to grab the throne in near future and be the public face of an organization. The designation of CEO appeals to every one of us since it brings power, money and the opportunity to lead an empire. He is responsible for the success and failure of the company as he heads operations, marketing, finance, creation of company culture, human resource, hiring, firing, compliance with safety regulations and PR. At present Google is headed by Larry page, one of its founding father. However Nikesh Arora is looked upon as the apparent successor to Larry. The Wall Street Journal have many a times in its edition labeled him as the most potential candidate to the post of Google's CEO. Currently he is the Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer at Google. In 2009 he was responsible for bringing Google's global sales to top. According to an SEC filing, Arora received $26.3 million in compensation in 2009 and his cash bonus and salary stood at $3.7 million. This made him one of the highest paid executives in America. Arora is responsible for all Google's revenue and customer operations, as well as marketing and partnerships. He has a proven track record at Google, having spent the last four and a half years building our European operations into a substantial business. Earlier Nikesh Arora worked for Deutsche Telekom, Putnam Investments, and Fidelity Investments. He also worked as Chief Marketing Officer and as a member of the management board at T-Mobile, Europe.
