Tim Berners-Lee

World Wide Web

He is the one who invented World Wide Web. Berners-Lee specified HTML and wrote the first browser and server software in1990. He and his team are credited with inventing the original HTTP. He now directs the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which is the International Standards Organization for the World Wide Web.

 

Vinton Cerf

TCP/IP Protocol

He is recognized as one of the “Fathers of Internet” along with Robert Kahn. He co-designed the TCP/IP protocols and the architecture which formed the backbone of the modern day internet. He currently serves as Google’s Chief Technology Evangelist.
