Bangalore: Symphony Services has partnered with Altus Learning Systems for sales enablement and knowledge sharing, to its growing roster of independent software vendor (ISV) clients. Altus, whose vSearch Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform makes video content searchable down to the spoken word, selected Symphony Services to augment the company's software testing and development teams, speeding time to market. Symphony Services' approach to outsourced product engineering services is important for Altus, as it allows the company to quickly identify software related needs and then immediately deploy Symphony resources to that project. The partnership allows Altus to easily and flexibly scale engineering resources to accelerate product innovation and time to market. Based in the cloud, Altus vSearch creates a flexible knowledge sharing environment for the enterprise, providing instant access to corporate knowledge anytime, anywhere through a searchable media platform. vSearch content can be easily viewed or downloaded on a wide range of mobile devices and formats - a feature that has helped a number of industry leading companies to save millions of dollars in travel and training costs, while increasing sales productivity and revenue. "Given Altus' rapid growth and strong demand for our enterprise video solutions, we required a proven, reliable development partner to help bring our innovative products to market faster," said Ted Cocheu, founder and CEO of Altus. After evaluating several outsourced product engineering services providers, Altus chose Symphony Services because of its laser focus on Engineering Outcome Certainty, made possible through close partnerships with clients' R&D organizations. Harnessing both established development best practices and IP (in the form of custom tools, methodologies and frameworks), Symphony Services is helping to drive product development results that are directly linked to Altus' business goals. "Our partnership with Altus demonstrates once again our proven skill at evolving our clients' already ground-breaking technology into market-changing software," said Dr. Pallab Chatterjee, CEO of Symphony Services.
