Sony Ericsson unveils Sony Ericsson Zylo and Spiro

Bangalore: Sony Ericsson unveiled two new phones Sony Ericsson Zylo and Sony Ericsson Spiro in the Indian market. This will be launched later in the year under its Sony Ericsson Walkman series. The two new handsets integrate not only integrate music features but also social networking tools.The phones also have a TrackID feature which allow users to access the name and artist of a track they hear playing wherever they are.Sony Ericsson claims in 2009 there have been 129 million lookups for TrackID. "The Sony Ericsson range of Walkman phones has seen tremendous success since it was first launched in 2005 having sold more than 130 million handsets to date and we are still seeing a great appetite from consumers. Today's announcement aims to satisfy this demand by making the Walkman phone range available to a wider audience," said Peter Ang, Vice President, Marketing, Asia Pacific region, Sony Ericsson. The Spiro will be available in Contrast Black, Sunset Pink, Spring Green and Stealth Black colours while the Zylo will be available in Jazz Black, Chacha Silver and Swing Pink.
