Sennari appoints Sanjeev Bhalla as VP

LOS ANGELES: Mobile applications company Sennari Inc. has appointed Sanjeev Bhalla as vice president of engineering and operations.
Bhalla joins Sennari from Comverse Network Systems, where he spent over ten years in various R&D groups as well as product management and business management functions, most recently serving as assistant vice president for the company's instant communications division. Before Comverse, Bhalla was a software architect at Oberon Software, a provider of vsual tools for business process integration.
Sennari is pitching its services - involving cellphone games, ringtones and other entertainment applications - as a way for mobile operators to reduce "churn" or customer turnover.
