Russian airline chooses Kerala IT firm's solution

Thiruvananthapuram: Russian airline company S7 Cargo has opted for the city-based IBS Software's new-generation cargo management solution, "iCargo", the IT firm said here Tuesday. Moscow-headquartered S7 Cargo is the holding company of S7 Airlines and Globus Airline. IBS said in a release that iCargo was an "integrated, solution suite which supports the entire logistics supply chain from shipper to consignee through the internet". iCargo, developed by IBS in association with six leading airlines in the world, is now a leading air cargo management solution with 19 customers implementing it, the release said. IBS' customers include All Nippon Airways, Austrian Airlines, Avient Cargo, CargoJet, Kingfisher Airlines, Nippon Cargo Airlines, Qantas and Tokyo International Air Cargo Terminal.
